The Book Slam Live is an event that brings the words on the pages of books to life on stage, giving authors, poets, and other creatives an opportunity to showcase their work. Smooth jazz music will play in the background, setting the tone as each featured author takes the stage. This event celebrates the art of storytelling, connects audiences with the voices behind the books, and provides an opportunity for attendees to learn more about the authors and purchase copies of their books.

Author Ricchedia Brown will grace the stage, reading poems from my debut poetry book, Making Sense of My Heart — a story told in stanzas. This is your opportunity to learn more about the story behind this book.
